Why I love the Internet

Lately, I’ve been sharing random tidbits with a friend of mine about why I love the Internet. It started with a local TV reporter (also a friend of mine with type 1 diabetes) who interviewed a woman who said, “I need to lose weight because I’m diabetical.” I laughed so hard, tears were flowing from my eyes. Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve run across several other videos, blogs or random posts that made me stop and think, “Man, I love the Internet.” So from now on — once a week (probably Fridays) — I will share with you why I love the Internet that particular week.

I’m starting with this video. I could not stop laughing while watching it. It’s absolutely hysterical. (Humor is relative, which I understand). And because of this video, I am now officially a fan of Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard. Seriously.

And for what it’s worth, I’m right there with her on the 3-7 emotional scale thing. I cry because I’m sad or because I’m happy. Doesn’t matter, I cry if the wind blows. Hope you found as much joy in this as I did. Have a great weekend!! (and feel free to pass along your own “I love the Internet” finds. Good ones may get posted.

  1. OMG! Ellen is so evil!! I LOVE HER!! I would have totally done the same thing. The joke I mean. Not the crying because there was a sloth coming to see me. I’m the same with the whole 3-7 thing though.

And just for future reference I would totally cry if I got to meet a panda, penguin, baby reticulated giraffe, baby polar bear, almost any baby monkey, or a fossa. In fact I’d love to own a fossa one day. Just in case you don’t know the joy of what a fossa is – http://www.zooborns.com/zooborns/2011/12/fantastic-foosa-trio-fool-with-the-camera.html

    😀

  2. I cannot stop watching this video!!! I think I’ve watched it 20 times today and I laugh so hard I cry EVERY time! Thanks for sharing 😀
PS I LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of going overseas alone to celebrate your 30th…I can’t wait to read about it 🙂
