Oh you people, you precious people that I get to share this life with are absolutely amazing! Do you see what you did? You helped me reached my goal of raising $4,000 for type 1 diabetes research! So many of you have sent me kind and encouraging words, you have bathed me in prayer and you have supported me financially. You have invested in me in such a tremendous way, and I am humbled by it.
I am so blessed to have the opportunity to navigate this life with each of you. Living, working and playing alongside you. Growing together and building each other up. It’s such a wonderful blessing. Thank for being there for me. Thank you for everything you’ve done to support this ride. I have never, and I mean never, done anything like this in my life. But you told me I could do it, and you supported me in unimaginable ways. Thank you!
We did it friends! We raised $4,000 for research. It may not seem like a large amount when you take into account how many millions are raised for research, but each donation helps reach that larger amount — each working together to accomplish a greater mission.
Your money will help develop new and better technologies that improve the lives of type 1 diabetics every day. It will help build partnerships with labs and researchers so new discoveries and therapies get to the patient faster. Your money will help ensure a better quality of life for myself and millions of others. It will help increase the possibility of a cure in my lifetime and build a future for the next generation that hopefully won’t include diabetes.
