#40for14

I’ve been so excited for today as it marks the start of this year’s #40for14. It’s becoming one of my favorite things each year for several reasons. For one, it raises money for type 1 diabetes research. It also brings awareness to the JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes event, and it means the Nashville Ride day is less than a month away! But I also love this campaign because it makes it easy for my friends, family and others to support the ride and contribute to type 1 diabetes research.

If you’re new to #40for14, let me explain. The goal is to raise $40 a day for 14 days through online sharing. Share the photo and video from this page, including #40for14 with each post. The photo above will direct you to my JDRF Ride page, as will the Nashville box on my website (to the right). If you’re able to donate a full $40, that’s amazing! If you can only give $5, $10 or $20, that works too, because others can make up the difference to reach the daily goal of $40. And by all means, you’re always welcome to give more. 🙂
