Miles for sale!

TEN DAYS!

The JDRF Nashville Ride is only 10 days away, and I am nervous. My goal is to ride the full 100, and those hills are a beast. I’ve ridden parts of the route; I’ve pedaled sections along the Natchez Trace. But even still, I’m terribly anxious. There’s a time cutoff on Nov. 1, and I have to make the cut on top of having the endurance to complete the full 100 miles. I need some extra motivation, and I’m hoping you will help me.

I’m selling my 100 miles. A minimum of $5 to my JDRF Ride gets you a mile. If I don’t pedal that mile, I’ll write you a personal check matching your donation. You still get the tax-break, but I’m on the line. Accountability and motivation do wonders for the mental state, so let’s see if we can knock these 100 miles out together.

As people purchase miles, I’ll add them to a running list on this post. If the mile requested is already taken, I’ll select the next closest mile available. Only $5 buys a mile and you get a tax break with the possibility of getting your $5 back. (But let’s hope that’s not the case.) Short of a mechanical issue or a crash, I’m all in. Let’s do this!

Ready, set, go!

MILES 1-100, up for grabs!
