Sorry, I’m not here today because I’m hanging out over at The War Eagle Reader. If you’re terribly lonely and lost without your daily dose of Victoria, you can read my TWER story about former Auburn safety Zac Etheridge here. With so many athletes misbehaving and thinking they have more freedoms than the rest of us, it’s nice to see a true Auburn man doing something for others. Zac designed a watch for Deuce Brand and is donating a portion of the proceeds to a wounded warriors charity. What a great story and way to help others. In 2009, Zac was temporarily paralyzed after a head-on collision with a teammate during the Auburn-Ole Miss game. After refusing to give up, Zac’s hard work payed off and he was cleared to play football just before the 2010 season. As a senior leader, Zac helped Auburn bring home the National Championship. His story is truly inspirational, so if you have a minute, you should take a look. I’m really proud of Zac and his efforts to help others.
War Eagle and Merry Christmas!
You can view Zac’s watch design called “Keep moving 4ward” by clicking here. It’s the last featured watch in the G2 sports collection. (And yes, it’s orange and blue.) If you order today, it’ll arrive by Christmas. **cough cough STOCKING cough STUFFER cough cough**
And if you just want to watch highlights from the National Championship, you can click here. (Because we all know that never gets old.)
