November 14, known to many as World Diabetes Day. People all over the world are bringing awareness to diabetes in different ways today. Our color is blue, and often, our symbol is a blue circle.
Many honor the day by wearing blue. Many cities will turn buildings and monuments blue for the day. Some people will share their personal stories of diabetes, other will show you their stories.
I’ll be wearing blue today, and I’m happy to share about type 1 diabetes with those around me. Here are some of my favorite ways people are celebrating World Diabetes Day this year.
